This innovation has been developed and published through the cooperation among Stakeholders :the relevant institutions of civil society organizations with innovators rural women's and Smallholder Farmers in southern governorates in Gaza strip region(Khanyonis and Rafah). Through creating local seeds bank as sustainable management of natural resources based on conserving and preserving more than 20 seeds varieties to offer the framers needs annually by collecting  seeds varieties to  grow it  in 2  dunum greenhouses  as observation filed(multiplication unit) ,30 home gardens of pioneers rural women's then conserving the production. On the other hand to rising the rural women's and families income 600-1500$ per year.  the stock of seeds 5000 Kg for the first year were given to 150 farmers with small minimum price to enhance the small farmers and increase the cultivation area. Indeed the stock is increasing gradually due to recycling the same process with all beneficiaries  annually.

the main scope of initiative is Sustainable management of natural resources aim at contributing to achieve food security based on preservation and production traditional seeds of different vegetables, legumes by establishment local seeds bank,the production of seeds varieties of many vegetables common Through greenhouses for seeds multiplications. In addition to the homegardens production that owned to the Palestinian rural women's that have the familiarity as main source of their incomes, in Southern Governorates (Khanyonis and Rafah) cities in Gaza strip, after process of recollecting and gathering seeds and then reproduction it especially the local seeds that have the ability to handle environmental conditions, From known farmers to grow and produce it again in optimal conversing conditions, and providing them technical extensions to returning it so, we can set the bank by the co-operation of the stakeholders and beneficiaries in Continuity to be sustainable on the long term.

1.Generally Gaza Strip is set as villages community witch rich diversity system. located between the latitudes 31.13-31.36 in the north of equator .
2. As Mediterranean conditions, the climate Semi-temperate, avilibality of Water resources.    Farming system: intensive farming Agricultural area.
3.economic activity: Agriculture including Green houses(Vegetables),open field (Vegetables and Serials),home gardens (MIX), livestock.The creation a significant number of jobs, specially for  women's. as we as increasing families incomes.
4.Farmers=Smallholders:1-5 dunums.The social system Family: system based on co-operation. The main crops: Tomato, Potato, Cucumber, Eggplant, Pepper,Melon and Carnation flowers.
5. Palestine  have characterized through the history by the farmers who love their land. so variety of seeds  are planted and moved from one  generation to another but in the last period were decreased this value due to the siege and closure and unplanned urban expansion.

1. Determine local seeds varieties  used by farmers as seed Genuine alternative to imported seeds.
2. Produce more than 5000 Kg regarding main vegetable seeds varieties  to be as stock that annually increased and given by minimum price .
3.Promotion of local products of high quality seeds (organic).

8.increases the income of rural households at 600 - 1500 $ in the year, and this depends on the area of land cultivated and the different types of vegetables as well as providing food for the family throughout the year .

10.20  Agronomists and beneficiaries are trained of the local seeds concepts and the project idea. 
11. 150 needy farmers are provided 10 stacks of fertilizers and local seeds .
12. 11  unemployed farmers  are provided with daily wages for at least 30 days.

1.30 small rural women's innovators : consider them the main piller of supporting seeds bank.
.the needs :developing  their  innovations , supporting families-rising incomes , increasing the  experience level and collecting the varieties needs.

 1.Situation challenge We live in an exception situation. Nothing can be done from the first time .This is related to many factors some of them, the exact siege on Gaza Strip, lack of fuel, lack of electricity and shortage in the raw materials and technical needs due to the closure.

2. Higher prices of same verities due to the low supply on the local markets and the limit production farms.
3. Lack of agricultural holdings owned in the region and urban encroachment on agricultural land and water salinity, which increases year after year and the lack of rain threatens agriculture in the future.

 1.Through finding bank of seeds that concern with the local seeds ,reproduction and encouraging farmers participating in this bank in order to take the seeds he wants.

2.Through educating and training rural  farmers the required skills to save seeds and how to reprduce it .
3. Selling seeds to farmers, nursing and enterprises .
4.Transfering the innovations and increasing  the  innovators women's (Sana*a ALA- AGHA and Shefa Zedan and others)  ,local farmers in the other regions and for the local community as NGOs and or commuity based organization .
