Ninth International Dialogue on Water in Agriculture

The International Dialogue on Water in Agriculture is an event jointly organized by the German Development Institute - Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) - and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
This year, the aim of the event is to identify successful Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in irrigation and critically review experiences with these partnerships regarding their benefits and risks related to socio-economic and environmental impacts.
The event will take place at the German Development Institute in Bonn on 1-2 June 2016.

Third MED-Amin Meeting

Meeting MED-Amin (Mediterranean Agricultural Market Information Network) aims at fostering cooperation and experience-sharing among the national information systems on cereals markets. The third meeting of the network which will take place in Rome on October 1 and 2, 2015, upon the invitation of the Italian authorities. It will be an opportunity for members to present the outcomes of a data collection process covering this time all MED-Amin commodities (wheat, maize, barley, rice). Evaluation of Best Practices for Food Security

In Montecarlo the International Selection Committee gathered to evaluate the Best Sustainable Development Practices collected by the Feeding Knowledge project. The Committee, chaired by Albert of Monaco, selected five Best Practices that will be presented through a short-movie at Expo2015 and ten Best Practices that will be narrated with a "photo-story".
